Darjeeling, the enchanting town, also known as the “Queen of Hills” lies nestled in the grandeur of the snow-capped mountains and lush green tea gardens. A holiday resort during the British rule, this town still exudes its past grandeur, charm and majesty, attracting a lot of visitors. Tucked away in the Himalayas, south of the state of Sikkim, Darjeeling at an altitude of almost 7000ft is situated in West Bengal, sharing its border with Sikkim in the north, Nepal in the west and Bhutan in the east. Darjeeling derives its name from the local Tibetan name ‘Dorjee-ling’, meaning ‘Place of the Thunderbolt’.

DAY 1 IXB AIRPORT TO KALIMPONG

After refreshments move towards Kalimpong. It is just 2 hr min journey from Siliguri. After reaching check into your pre booked hotels& rest.

DAY 2 KALIMPONG SIGHTSEEiNG TO DARJEELING DROP

After breakfast go for sightseeing covering Durpin Dhara, Zong Dog Palri Fo-Brong Monastery, Dello Hills & view Point Dr.Graham”s Home and Flower & Orchid Nurseries.Transfer to Darjeeling for night stay.

DAY 3 DARJEELING FULL DAY SIGHT SEEN

After breakfast be ready for for sightseeing covering Batasia Loop & Ghoom Monastery. APadmaja Naidu Himalaya Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, (Closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock & Gombu Rock & Tibetan Refugee Self – Help Center (Closed on Sunday), White Pagoda.Once the sight seen are over proceed back to hotel and rest.Evening free for leisure.

DAY 4 MIRIK EXCURSION

(Mirik is a beautiful small hill station with a beautiful Natural lake over viewing of Mighty Kanchenjunga (Third Highest Peak in the world) at the height of around 5,500 ft. Boating at the lake or Horse Riding in the bank of Lake are available. Journey from Darjeeling to Mirik through lush green forests and tea gardens is really mesmerizing) & Pashupati market in Nepal..

DAY 5 DARJEELING TO NJP STATION / BAGDOGRA AIRPORT DROP

After breakfast leave Darjeeling & transfer to Njp/ ixb drop only.
